A friend of mine owns a Nikon D100. I started watermouthing as soon as he told me he did, that got worse when I actually got to hold it at a party a while ago. So after a bit of begging, I got to borrow it to take a bunch of pictures. A very good camera for an amateur to hold on to. The instant feedback of the dSLR is a very good way to learn: just snap and snap and snap to see what different settings and compositions do. No film wasted. After just one weekend I can say: if you want to practice, borrow of rent one of these. It'll be well worth it! Thank you Eric!
Well, maybe not new, but new for us! This 1 are, 44 centiare plot holds our 120m2, 325m3 1980 house. We are busy making it look good, but feel free to look inside while we work!
The second vacation in 2002. We decided to go on a Bike ride for a couple of days and touring by car another few days. Masuria is an excelent location for that, reasonably flat, lots of empty space and enough small towns to go to. We had a lot of fun and even learned a couple of Polish words. Among the most interesting things we saw were the Bialowieza campsite showers, the Elblag-Ostroda canal and Swieta Lipka. Poland is a highly recommended place to go if you don't want to spend too much and like nature a lot. Oh, and it was hot almost every day, and not once colder than 23°C. Some mediteranean countries would have been jealous (it was raining there, at the time).
Twelve days of diving in Safaga, Egypt. Twelve dives, beautiful reefs, impressive wrecks.
A lot of Woudenbergs and Enniks in Hoek van Holland.
